Job Description
A CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Drafter is responsible for creating technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer software. They work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to convert their concepts and specifications into accurate and detailed drawings that can be used for construction, manufacturing, or production purposes. CAD Drafters utilize specialized software tools to develop 2D and 3D models, ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to industry standards.
Job Responsibilities
*Create accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams based on specifications.
*Develop 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
*Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers.
*Revise and update drawings as needed.
*Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality control.
*Generate bills of sewan materials (BOMs) and material take-offs.
*Conduct quality checks on drawings.
*Maintain organized documentation of design files.
*Stay updated with CAD software and tools.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree (preferred)
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Organizational and time management skills.
