Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Structural professional to join our team. As a BIM Structural, you will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to support the design and analysis of structural components in various construction projects. Working closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing accurate and efficient structural models, facilitating seamless collaboration, and optimizing project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
*Develop and manage detailed BIM models for structural components using industry-leading software.
*Collaborate with structural engineers and design teams to ensure accurate integration of structural concepts into BIM models.
*Coordinate structural models with other disciplines to resolve clashes and conflicts.
*Adhere to company BIM standards, best practices, and contribute to workflow improvements.
*Create and maintain a library of parametric families and templates for efficient modeling.
*Perform structural analysis within BIM models to validate designs and support decision-making.
*Utilize BIM models for quantity takeoffs and material schedules to aid in estimating and procurement.
*Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
*Prepare and manage construction documents derived from BIM models.
*Provide guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling for structural engineering projects.
Proficiency in using BIM software like Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structures, or other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineering and design teams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to project requirements and technological advancements in the BIM industry.
